Overview

KingStop End Cap is extruded from an elastomeric polyvinyl chloride rubber. KingStop End Cap is designed in precision engineered profile to stop any possible leakage from expansion joints in cast-in place concrete elements. KingStop End Cap can be used in combination with the integrated waterproofing system as it is suitable for both, water retaining and water excluding structures.

KingStop End Cap is suitable for use in 50 mm expansion concrete joints in the following structures:

Elongation at break	> 300 % METHOD OF INSTALLATION KingStop End Cap can be placed on top of the shutter or expansion board. Secure KingStop End Cap in place by nailing it below the flange to the expansion board. SITE WELDING The key to a leak free waterstop network is correct onsite jointing. KingStop End Cap is made of thermoplastic PVC, and can be easily welded using suitable heating processes, such as welding knife. Cut the edges to be welded in a sharp and straight line then secure the ends in a welding jig. Use the welding knife between the ends, until an even, molten bead appears. Remove the welding knife and press the ends firmly together. Consult KINGKRETE technical departments for further details. JUNCTION PIECES Full ranges of factory made junction pieces are available	—
