KingKure 90S®
Concrete curing aid and dust-proofer.
Overview
KIngKure 90S is a non-staining aqueous solution of metallic silicates. When applied to fresh concrete, renders or screeds, a reaction occurs with free lime which seals the pores, thereby reducing the evaporation rate of moisture from the mix, which assists the curing process. KIngKure 90S gives the following benefits: Improves ultimate strength, durability and surface hardness of concrete. Reduces shrinkage, hairline cracking, crazing and surface dusting. Nonflammable so can be used in areas of poor KingKure ventilation. KIngKure 90S can be applied to both vertical and horizontal surfaces. KIngKure 90S may allow subsequent treatments without the need for further preparation. To determine the compatibility it is recommended that a small test area be carried out using the intended coating or treatment.
Applications
- KIngKure 90S is used mainly for newly cast concrete and cementitious surfaces to retain sufficient moisture to ensure full hydration of the cement as well as providing concrete with a harder dust proof surface. Typical application areas include:
- Runways and roads
- Roof decks
- Retaining walls
- Irrigation canals
- Concrete slabs and walls
- Columns and underground foundations
Advantages
- Helps achieve concrete desired strengths
- Minimizes potential surface cracking and shrinkage
- Promotes a harder dust free surface
- Single component
- Can be spray applied to reduce labor cost
