Overview
KingProof Tape IT is a flat section, preformed intumescent strip based upon synthetic rubbers. It deforms under moderate pressure and has appreciable surface tack and recovery. When subjected to flame, KingProof Tape IT will intumesce (expand and char), thus blocking the passage of fire and smoke.
Applications
- For use in glazing internal and external FD30 timber fire doors and screens
- Note: It is not recommended for external use without a sealant capping (contact Technical Department)

Usage & Packaging
KingProof Tape IT is available in single reels, 16 reels/ carton. AVAILABLE SIZES 15 mm x 3 mm. King Cleaner TB130: 1 liter tin (Toluene based – not suitable for use with plastics or delicate finishes). King Cleaner AB160 : 1 liter tin (Alcohol based).
Shelf life is 1 year when stored under cover, out of direct sunlight and protected from extremes of temperature
