Task at Hand

KingKrete was approached for a quality-based flooring refurbishment by Schneider Electric President Systems Ltd (previously APW President Systems), a leading designer, manufacturer, and supplier of standard and customised enclosure systems in India — market leader for over 27 years in 19-inch enclosures for IT and telecom infrastructure.

The requirement was a seamless, aesthetic, and even flooring system applied over the existing 10-year-old worn-out RCC floor slab, which suffered from undulations and potholes. The proposed system had to withstand frequent daily movement of rubberised trolleys and forklifts carrying loads of 2–4 tonnes.

KingKrete Solution

With the site an existing and ongoing business, the solution required a quick, professional turnaround — from enquiry, floor inspection, and reporting to proposal, justification, and execution — minimising delays to the client’s operations. KingKrete went beyond expectations by covering 4,000 m² (67% of the project) with FeRFA-compliant flooring systems within 5 days, with enhanced productivity, aesthetics, and easier maintenance.
