The project at hand was the refurbishment of a horse stable. The main challenge facing the contractor was achieving a resilient, hardwearing flooring system for the stable floors.

KingFloor Exterior Topping
A polymer-modified cementitious topping designed to eliminate surface irregularities and smooth internal and external concrete surfaces exposed to heavy traffic. Applied over the existing floor, it achieved superior resilience to wear and the ability to withstand freeze-thaw cycles.
To ensure satisfactory bonding, the prepared surface was dampened down to minimise pinholing.
